Replacement of amalgam (silver) fillings
​
If you are unhappy with the appearance of your existing amalgam fillings, there is an option to replace them with composite (white filling). However, whether this is viable depends upon the extent of the existing filling. Your dentist will advise you on whether the replacement of your metal fillings is possible or not.
Veneers
​
Veneers are porcelain facings that can be cemented onto teeth which are discoloured or chipped.
Porcelain Crowns
​
Porcelain crowns have a much better appearance than the standard metal-ceramic crowns that are made under the NHS. Both are tooth coloured, but full porcelain crowns have better translucency so the result is more aesthetically pleasing. With porcelain crowns however, more tooth structure has to be taken away from your natural tooth to accomodate the material used.

Invisalign

Because the aligners are removable, you can easily take them in and out to continue enjoying the food you love without any restrictions. For those who participate in contact sports, Invisalign clear aligners can be removed before you play.
Stain removal
​
There are a variety of reasons why stain can build up on your teeth, for example, tobacco use and drinking black coffee. The stain removal system that we use, KaVo PROPYflex 3, can reduce the amount of staining that is visible on your teeth. It makes use of a steam of fine powder particles to gently polish away stubborn stains off a tooth, giving instant results.
As a light smoker & heavy coffee drinker, my teeth had a great deal of brown staining on them, especially between the front teeth & on the inside of the lower jaw. After having the treatment, they are now spotlessly clean & feel wonderful. I am amazed that not just some, but all of the staining has been removed & I feel I can talk & smile again now without being so conscious of my teeth.
