Sedation

What is intravenous sedation?

Intravenous Sedation is carefully administering relaxing drugs via a vein in your arm. It will make you feel more relaxed, therefore allowing you to feel at ease.

Intravenous (IV) Sedation will also increase your pain threshold - so any discomfort you might feel decreases for approximately 6 hours after surgery.

IV Sedation contributes to a faster recovery. It can also help you achieve a peaceful long sleep.
