Following the Government announcement dental practices in England have been given the green light to reopen from 8 June 2020.

We are very excited to meet our patients face to face again, however, to keep you and our team members safe, we need to ensure; ☆ The availability of fully compliant PPE. ☆The ability to exercise social distancing measures. ☆ The application of appropriate cross-infection control.

Like many other dental practices, the main challenge we are facing now is the sourcing of appropriate PPE, this means there may be a delay before we can fully reopen and the range of treatments on offer might be limited, the number of patients we are able to see during the day will be reduced as well.

We are committed to prioritising the safety of all patients and of our team, we would only offer you a face to face appointment when it is safe to do so.

During this transitional period, while we are working to create a safe environment for everyone, we continue to provide you with remote consultations to manage any dental emergency you have, we continue to provide you with professional advice, advice and prescription of appropriate analgesics and prescription of antimicrobial as and when appropriate.

Emergency dental hubs will still be available, and will be able to offer you urgent treatment on referral.

Please do not hesitate to contact us on 01424423033. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 01:00 and 02:00 - 05:30. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays.

For out of hours emergency please contact the East Sussex Emergency Dental Service on 01424850792.

Thank you for your patience and kind understanding and thank you for staying safe.

This is a helpful service update, especially for patients who need to understand changes to appointment arrangements and how these may affect access to dental care. Clear communication about service provision is important because it helps patients plan ahead and know what to expect. For a little downtime outside appointments, relaxing games can also be an easy way to unwind and take a break.

Thanks for sharing this update. Clear communication about service changes is incredibly important, especially in healthcare settings where patient safety and confidence come first. I appreciate how the post keeps patients informed about operational updates while emphasizing a commitment to high standards of care and safety during challenging circumstances.

When I'm taking a break from reading healthcare news and updates, I enjoy obstacle dodging game challenges because they require quick reactions, focus, and smart decision-making to navigate through increasingly difficult levels.

The adjustment to a reduced range of services shows how quickly routines can change when circumstances require a different approach. For people continuing to work while studying, a diploma course certificate can offer a more manageable route, with The College of Contract Management providing diploma and certificate options. Flexible learning can make it possible to keep progressing without putting everything else on hold.

One lasting effect of service interruptions like this is that patients often become more aware of how much planning goes into safe healthcare, especially when resources and staffing are under pressure. It also highlights how project coordination and risk management principles apply far beyond construction or engineering. Similar planning frameworks are explored in a quantity survey course, where balancing safety, scheduling, and resource allocation is a key part of delivering essential services effectively, even during unexpected disruptions.
